The R2 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has completed an
initial draft of the R2 Guidance Document and it is now available for public
comment here
on the R2 Solutions website. The draft R2 Guidance Document offers
explanation about how the Provisions of the R2 Standard can be put into
practice and what activities constitute conformance.
R2 Solutions and the TAC are committed to an open and transparent process for developing this guidance, and are looking for input from all perspectives and interests. The TAC itself is made up of individuals representing many of the key interests relating to electronics recycling standards.
The TAC invites all interested parties to provide comments and suggested changes to the current draft. This can be done using the form on the webpage linked to above. Please provide any input by January 6, 2012. If you have questions, please contact John Lingelbach at lingelbach@....
R2 Solutions wants to thank all the TAC members that have contributed their time and energy to developing this initial draft. And to those members of the public that take the time to review the document and submit comments: Thank you!
