Patterson promoted from yard manager to oversee transportation, operations, salvage and scrap metal processing
Safety Tank of Maryland Inc., a compressed gas cylinder recycling company based in Westminster, Maryland, has announced the appointment of Brandon Patterson as its new general manager, effective September 1, 2026.
Patterson brings 15 years of experience in the recycling industry to the position. He previously served as the company's yard manager and will assume responsibility for transportation, yard operations, tank salvage, and scrap metal processing and sales.
“Brandon’s 15 years of recycling-industry experience, his work in our yard operations, and his knowledge of the compressed gas cylinder recycling business make him well qualified to take on this expanded leadership role,” said Tom Lokey, CEO of Safety Tank of Maryland. “He understands both the operational demands of the business and the importance of safely and responsibly processing cylinders and recovering recyclable materials.”
In his new position, Patterson will oversee the coordination of inbound and outbound transportation, daily yard activities, cylinder salvage operations, and the processing and sale of recovered scrap metal. His appointment reflects Safety Tank of Maryland's continued commitment to efficient operations, responsible recycling, and dependable service to its customers and industry partners.
