EPA National Recycling Strategy and Funding Options for Education & Outreach – We also participated in a national Recycling Organizations Council Call last week featuring Swarupa Ganguli, Acting Chief, Resource Conservation Branch at EPA, regarding funding options totaling $75m for Recycling Education & Outreach. This grant program, which will become available to counties and municipalities by year end, supports key EPA goals to increase collection and reduce contamination. MRN will be hosting a free webinar on Thursday, January 26 at Noon at which Ganguli and her staff will provide more details and guidance on the grant application process.
