EPA’s New Program Creates Pathway to Civil Service for Recent Graduates

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced the launch of the Green Interns Program where recent college graduates interested in environmental issues can service their county while gaining valuable work experience. Participants will receive training, mentoring and full benefits with a potential path to full employment within the federal government.

Eligibility requirements state "Candidates must have earned associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degrees or certificates from qualifying institutions and programs within the previous two years. Veterans are eligible to apply up to six years after completing their degree or certificate. Preference eligible veterans can apply two years after release or discharge from active duty."
